Offering a complete and total concept solution – customized to every last detail – this proudly Italian made brand has quickly transcended to the forefront of the International luxury design scene.
Visionnaire is a world-class Italian furniture monobrand that was created in 2005 by a holdings company called, IPE – Imbottiture Prodoti Espansi (In English: expanded padded products). The intention was to offer an interior design concept that further emphasized fashion and lifestyle. Founded by the Cavalli brothers, Vittorio and Pompeo in 1959, IPE became notorious for the use of Polyurethane in their furniture creations – which at the time was only being used in the automotive industry for seat padding. With the help of this soft yet durable chemical, the Cavilli brothers also released their first line of sofa’s in 1959; Kozmo and Mercury.
Since April 2014, the private equity investment company, Ergon Capital Partners III has been a significant driver of Visionnaire’s growth, ambitiously opening directly owned and licensed monobrand stores within the world’s most luxurious cities. Ergon Capital is backed by one of the largest holding companies in Europe with market capitalization of over 11 billion euros; Belgian Baron, Albert Frère’s Groupe Bruxelles Lambert (GBL).
Visionnaire is now operating in 60 countries with a chain of mono-brand showrooms, carefully selected high-end multi-brand shops and luxury department stores, as well as working with the best interior designers throughout the world.
In the upcoming weeks, we will be opening our newest showroom dedicated entirely to the Visionnaire. Located on the Coal Harbor seawall here in Vancouver, the new display is just 200 steps down the boardwalk from our LBHC flagship store.
